Cove Fort

Chad's parents are on a mission at Cove Fort. They are on a 6 month mission, so we went to visit them while they were there, so they could give us the personalized tour.
This is all of us outside the fort
Just our little family, outside the fort
Cove Fort, est in the 1890s.  If you haven't been to Cove Fort, you should stop in.  It was originally created as a telegraph station between Beaver & Fillmore, since a telegraph could only be sent 30 miles.  It was ran by President Hinkley's grandpa. Several travelers passing by would stay there.  It was a great reminder of how life used to be.  How basic life used to be a chore.  We have a lot of conviences in our lives, dishwashers, washers & dryers, indoor plumbing, and what are we filling our spare time with since we aren't baking our own bread?  Blogging I guess today :)
Hinckley Family Cabin, church on Sunday was held behind the building under the trees
They had a few games and pioneer type things to do and watch, it was a hot day
My two sweet boys
